Project: San Diego culinary icon Giuseppe Ciuffa chose Rodolfo Ocio for his latest La Jolla project Candor.  Giuseppe and Ocio had previously collaborated on Caroline's Seaside Cafe over a decade ago.

Result: Casual & approachable, cool & intimate, this European Bistro is sure to be a La Jolla destination for travelers and locals alike.  Features a cozy dining area, wine bar and covered patio dining.

The Look: Wood-look floor tile with a soft, worn feel contrasts with the crisp white walls.  An unexpected high ceiling with exposed beams showcases clusters of corrugated cardboard pendant lighting.   Classic Carrara marble counter tops and bright teal stools at the bar offer guests an intimate view into Giuseppe's Kitchen.
